These spacers are available in polyacetal, fluororesin and polycarbonate. Polyacetal (commonly known as Delrin) is an engineering thermoplastic with good strength, wear resistance, and dimensional stability, making it good for food applications. Fluororesin (PTFE) spacers have the lowest coefficient of friction. Can withstand high temperatures up to 250 °C (500 °F), and are inert to chemicals and solvents, making them a great choice for food applications.. Polycarbonate is a transparent tough thermoplastic with high impact strength, excellent chemical resistance and electrical properties, and good dimensional stability.
