Plier Clamps
A plier clamp is a type of clamp that firmly fixes an object by gripping it from the sides. It is generally used by adjusting the bolt at the tip or tail end of the clamp according to the thickness of the object, then squeezing the handle to grip it from the sides. It allows workpieces of the same thickness to be repeatedly inserted with a single action, enabling efficient repetitive work. It can be used as a temporary holder for welding and assembly work, and as a jig, and can be used in a wide range of applications such as woodwork, sheet metal, and machine work. Secure fixation requires the width to be adjusted appropriately so that the opening does not become too wide or too narrow during adjustment. Tightening pressure varies from 2,000 N to 5,800 N depending on the product, so it must be selected according to the application.
