Black Zinc-Plated Brass 90 Degree Elbow Female - Male NPTF Adapter has good corrosion resistance and zinc offers additional corrosion control or sacrificial anode, and is an excellent choice for use with hot and cold water. Fittings that comply with NSF/ANSI 61 and NSF/ANSI 372 low-lead standards and can be used with potable water. These fittings also have various pressure classes and should be used according to the pressure requirements of the system. Black zinc finish is electrically conductive and offers a greater corrosion protection over a black oxide finish. Zinc coating increases the life-span of the metal and corrodes 100xx slower than other metal coatings.
