More Information

■ Usage
● Efficient for removing extremely fine burrs produced after machining with a base thickness of 0.1 mm or less.
● It is suitable for machining with a machining center, dedicated machine or drilling machine and enables easy automation.
● It is ideal for surface grinding and removing extremely fine burrs on parts of cars, aircraft and machines.
● It greatly improves surface roughness in a short time to reduce the time taken for the polishing process.

A brush wire is used instead of a ceramic fiber stick grindstone.
The wire tip has excellent cutting ability.
The wire will not spread as it is used.

■ About the wire
● The white is thick, durable and excellent in cutting properties. For hard ferrous work materials.
● The red is thinner than the white, with excellent fitting and is suitable for removing extremely fine burrs. For free-cutting material.
● The pink is the softest and only removes burrs while preventing edge undercut.

■ Operating Precautions
[Maximum operating rotation speed]
● It is dangerous to exceed the maximum operating rotation speed since the brush may break.
[Cut Depth / Cutting Load]
● It is not efficient and also shortens the life of the brush due to rapid wire abrasion if the product is used with an excessive cut depth or cutting load.
● It is most effective to cut material at the wire tip.
[Adjusting Wire Protrusion Amount]
● Use it after adjusting flexibility and traceability by mounting a sleeve (outer cylinder part) to the outer circumference of the brush body to adjust the wire protrusion amount from the sleeve. Flexibility and traceability improve with an increased protrusion amount and worsen with a decreased protrusion amount. It is dangerous to exceed the protrusion amount since the brush may break.
[Hair Length]
● When the total length of the wire (hair length) is shortened as you use the product, its cutting ability tends to increase and its fitting tends to decrease. Therefore, adjust its cutting ability and fitting by reducing the rotation speed / cut depth.
[Dry / Wet Machining]
● Both dry and wet machining are possible. Wet machining has a slightly better cutting ability. Collect the dust generated with dry machining with a device such as a dust collector.

 * Tested at 80% of the maximum operation rotation speed.
 * Feed speed is in inverse proportion to cutting ability. When the feed is doubled, the cutting amount will be decreased by half.
 * Use a float holder (P.983) for more stable machining.
