Nuts for Aluminum Extrusions
Nuts (for extruded aluminum extrusions) are fasteners used to attach parts to aluminum extrusions, connect two frames together or the like. Pre- and post-assembly nuts are available. The former is inserted in groove end surfaces of extruded aluminum extrusions before assembly. The latter is inserted in the tops of grooves after assembly. Nuts can be fastened finger-tight in extruded aluminum extrusion grooves by using spring nuts, anti-slip nuts or stoppers. Nuts are made of many different materials and have many different surface treatments, so should be selected to match the application.
