Ball Bearings

Technical Information【BALL BEARINGS】
Ball bearings are used to reduce friction of a rotary shaft mounted on the machine. Reducing friction helps increase the machine efficiency, extend lifespan and prevent seizing and failure. Ball bearings consist of balls (rolling elements), the inner ring, the outer ring, the cage (for keeping the balls in appropriate motion), and are used for many machines requiring rotary shafts, such as motors equipped in electric tools, etc. Types of ball bearings are as follows; angular bearings which support radial and axial loads by combination of single row and double row, thrust bearings which support forces acting in the axial direction of a rotating object, and self-aligning bearings used when the inner and outer rings of a bearing are tilted. In addition to materials, sizes, basic load ratings, and allowable rotational speeds, there are a wide variety of types of shields, greases, outer ring types, etc., requiring you to select a suitable ball bearing for the application.
