Hex Nipple - Reducer, Nickel-Plated Brass, Pipe Fitting, Male NPT to Male NPT, Class 1000
Reducing Hex Nipple Male NPTF made of Nickel-Plated Brass has good corrosion resistance and is an excellent choice for use with hot and cold water, and Nickel provides an excellent heat exchanger. Fittings that comply with NSF/ANSI 61 and NSF/ANSI 372 low-lead standards and can be used with potable water. These fittings also have various pressure classes and should be used according to the pressure requirements of the system. Use class 125 in low-pressure applications, class 250 in medium-pressure applications, and compression/instrumentation fittings in high-pressure applications. Nickel plating ensures the material is more corrosion resistant, less porous, and lower coefficient of friction.
