Globe Valves（Supply Side, Tube Flange Nominal：1 1/4B）

Globe valves are named for their appearance of spherical body (globe) shape. These valves are designed to open and close quickly, and their flow characteristics can be changed by configuring their discs. Also, globe valves feature a wide range of operating temperatures and pressures, and are suitable for use in the intermediate open position. Globe valves can be used either for the control operation (controlling the flow rate by changing the disc shape) or the on-off operation. They are used in a wide range of applications, mainly for water supply and sewerage system, as well as industrial and chemical facilities. Bronze, cast iron and stainless steel are often used for the body, and particularly, the valve made of stainless steel drastically improves its durability, and some can be used with high-temperature fluids. · This ductile iron valve can be used as a high-pressure gas equipment valve.
· The ductile cast iron product (FCD-S) is a cast iron product that passes JIS B 8270 Appendix 5-A and the standard specified by METI Public Notice No. 291 8/1/1975 (Revised: 3/24/1997 Notice No. 137) Article 4-7, Note 1. The material is regulated specifically for high-pressure gas facilities and pressure vessels, etc. These regulations differ to cast iron products, which are regulated by JIS G5502 Standard for Ductile Iron (FCD400-15, etc.).
· Cast iron products with the following chemical composition, mechanical properties, and micro structure-—as specified in the JIS and METI Notification for ductile iron castings (FCD-S)—make this product suitable for use in high-pressure gas equipment and pressure vessels.
