· When the lever is pulled up the serrations disengage enabling freely changing of the lever position.
· If the lever is released, it returns to meshed status.
· The threaded part can be replaced.
· Losses due to friction of the seat are reduced so twice the tightening force is achievable with the same lever.
· No scratches formed on the applicable parts as the seat surface does not move.
· A high amount of pretension can be applied to the threaded part so it will not readily loosen.
