Locating Positioning
INDEXING PLUNGERS
A device or system used to position and move objects or parts in a specific sequence within a manufacturing or assembly process. It has an internal spring system, its function is to fix a position by means of a pin located at the tip.
Applications
Some of the sectors in which indexers are used are:
- Electronics: In the manufacture of electronic products, such as cell phones, computers, storage devices and electronic components, indexers are used for precise positioning of parts, soldering, assembly and testing.
- Food and beverage: Used for sorting, labeling, packaging, bottle filling, packing and other operations related to food and beverage production.

This model is commonly used for applications where higher pressure is required.
This model tends to have greater visibility and has a larger contact area.
This model does not have a knob, it is selected when the customer wishes to install an existing one or under another geometry.
This model is side mounted, depending on the type of application and available space.

- Carbon steel: selected for low handling.
- Stainless steel: ideal for humid environments.
