Spiral Reamers (HSS)(Large Tip Diameter: 5.59)

Spiral reamers (high-speed steel) are a high-speed steel reamer with a helix angle used for finishing holes. This product has better chip evacuation than straight grooved reamers, and is used for drilling through-holes in work material with long cutting chips, and features a helix angle that prevents chatter. In addition, the performance can be improved by reducing the heat that can be cut. Spiral reamers (high-speed steel) have a right helix angle and a left helix angle. Cutting chips are ejected on the right helix angle to the shank side of the reamer, and left helix angle are ejected in the direction the reamer is traveling. A left-handed helix angle has a lower risk of cutting chip entry and can be processed stably, but cannot be used in a shape that does not allow cutting chips to come off to the tip side. Reamers with strong torsion are sometimes referred to as high helical types, and high left helical types are sometimes called broach reamers.
