Cable Glands
A cable gland is a part that secures the cable and protects it from cable disconnection and load due to vibration, and prevents water, oil, and dust from entering the insertion port. Used for cable outlets of electrical wiring devices such as control panels, junction boxes, handy controllers, etc. After inserting the cable into the connector body, fix and connect it with a rubber bush that serves as an internal seal, a lock nut, and a seal nut. The most common type is a tool that can be hand tightened without using tools, and there are parts for various sizes and applications. The material is made of polyamide, which has excellent waterproof properties, NBR rubber, which is resistant to oil, silicon rubber, which is resistant to aging and ultraviolet rays, metal, which is resistant to chemicals and impact, etc. There are also parts with different shapes from general-purpose types, such as spiral and pinch types that prevent cable breakage, etc.

Sealed cable gland from AVC that comes with a slit that provides a special clamping mechanism able to accommodate a wide range of cable diameters. The cable gland also features extrusions that exerts the ideal amount of clamping force on the cable when tightened by hand. This allows for a perfect sealing effect that completely shields the internal parts from external media like water, oil, and dust. The cable gland also offers excellent chemical and heat resistance, as well as electrical insulation. This makes the cable gland ideal for use in outdoor applications with such communication devices as control panels, machine tools, railways, ships, and LED lighting.
