An electromagnetic contactor is an electrical component that turns on and off a load current. It features a main contact connected to the wiring on the power supply side and the load side, and an auxiliary contact for the self-holding circuit. It has a mechanism that the contacts are activated by electromagnetic force. When a built-in coil is electrified, a movable core is drawn to a fixed core, and at the same time, the contacts come into contact and the circuit opens. Reversible products that can switch the motor rotation to reverse rotation are also available.
