PLC
PLCs are devices that control the sequence of electrical operations. They are also called programmable controllers or sequencers. PLCs receive signals from input devices, such as switches and sensors, and control output devices, such as motors and lamps, based on a set program. These devices are used in factory automation systems for electrical appliance production lines, semiconductor manufacturing equipment, machinery for metal machining, etc. A key feature of these products is that the user can program the device, generally using ladder logic for programming. Interior components consist of the input module, MPU module, memory, output module and power supply component, and the device requires every component in order for it to function properly. PLC designs include modular designs that build components onto the base unit, fixed types such as cubic types, and more.
