A drill for high-speed wet machining and dry machining of aluminum alloys.
[Features]
· It utilizes DLC coating (diamond-like carbon) with high hardness, a low coefficient of friction and abrasion resistance.
· Dry machining of aluminum alloy is possible.
· Melting induced adhesion is minimal due to the low friction coefficient of the DLC coating and special groove shape, also making chips less likely to clog.
· Allows also non-step boring of hole depth 5D.
[Applications]
· Capable of dry machining of aluminum alloy, and non-step machining of hole depths up to 3D.
