Inspection after Shutdown
When a breaker shutdown occurs due to accident current, the fuse may be reused or may need to be replaced depending on the situation.

Magnitude of breaking current Degree of breaker damage Measures
Operation within time delay tripping
(Overcurrent within approx. 10 times the rated current)
No abnormality other than exhaust port Can break overcurrent of 6 times the rated current for up to 50 times
(100 A or lower)
Relatively low current value
Shorting Current
No-Fuse Breakers, Panelboard Model:Related Image
Large shorting current close to rated breaking capacity
Carbonization around exhaust port can be observed

Replace with New Parts

∙ Perform insulation withstand voltage test if insulation resistance value does not reach 5 MΩ.
∙ Can be used temporarily if the standard Peak voltage is achieved, but an early replacement is recommended.
∙ Can be used if both insulation resistance and Peak voltage are sufficient, but check temperature increase does not occur for a certain period of time.
∙ Perform an operation test of the leakage breaker using the test button.
