Ball Bearings

Rotary Motion and Power Trasnmission

BALL BEARINGS

Bearings for rotational use that employ internally spherical balls and are designed to allow smooth and efficient movement of moving parts by providing a rolling contact point rather than direct sliding.

Applications

  • Robotics: Industrial robots to enable smooth and precise motion. Used in applications such as welding, assembly, palletizing, material handling and many other robotic tasks.

  • Automated conveyor systems: Used in automated conveyor systems such as conveyor belts, sorting systems and material handling systems. Bearings allow moving parts, such as rollers and pulleys, to rotate efficiently and smoothly.

  • Inspection and quality control equipment: In linear motion devices, turning and rotating systems and other moving parts to ensure accurate and reliable operation.

  • Machine tools: Enable precise movement in lathes, milling machines, and machining centers.

  • Printing machinery: Ensure precise paper movement.

  • Food processing equipment: Bearings are used in conveyors, mixers, and packaging machinery.

  • Beverage bottling: Bearings facilitate the movement of bottles and containers.

Example No.000075

The assembly shown corresponds to a pick and place, this mechanism is designed to transfer material from one belt to another.

The bearings reduce friction in rotating applications by providing smooth rotation.

Self-Aligning Ball

Angular Bearing (Single)

Angular Bearing (Double)

Thrust Bearing

Each type of ball bearing has specific characteristics that make them suitable for different applications, so it is important to select the correct type based on the load, speed and alignment requirements of the particular application.

  • Ball: The most used and versatile. Can withstand radial loads and low axial loads.

  • Self-Aligning Ball: With two rows of balls, these bearings have the ability to automatically adjust to small misalignments between the shaft and the housing.

  • Angular Bearing (Single) Designed to support moderate radial loads and axial loads in one direction.

  • Angular Bearing (Double) Has two rows of balls and can support high radial loads and axial loads in both directions.

  • Thrust Bearing Has a high axial load capacity.

Grooving

Commercial model,
installation is pressurized.

This model has a retaining ring,
which facilitates bearing removal.

The shoulder or step is already
incorporated. Ideal for cavities.

It has a guide, works in conjunction with other components, e.g. a belt.

Rubber Seal

Ideal for high speed, constant maintenance application. Should not be exposed to hostile environments or contaminants.

It has steel covers on both sides. Ideal for high revolutions, it generates less friction.

Rubber seal on both sides. Designed for environments prone to dust and moisture. Prevents transfer of contaminants to the interior of the component.
