LINEAR BALL BUSHINGS

Components used in linear motion systems to provide smooth and precise motion in a linear direction.
Linear ball bushings consist of a raceway and steel balls that slide along the raceway, allowing low-friction linear motion.

Linear ball bushings can have different configurations to suit various applications and requirements.

  • Straight: ideal for applications where space is limited. Have a moderate load capacity in radial and axial direction. Can support light to moderate loads depending on their size and design.

  • Flange: provides greater stability and rigidity to the system. The flange helps prevent lateral displacement and misalignment. The flange on the bushing facilitates mounting and ensures precise alignment on the support structure. Mounting is by means of mounting holes in the flange, allowing secure and reliable attachment.

  • With Casing: helps prevent the entry of foreign particles and ensures proper lubrication inside the bushing. This contributes to smooth operation and reduced maintenance requirements. The housing provides greater structural strength to the bushing, making it more robust and suitable for applications requiring greater rigidity and resistance to heavier loads.

LUBRICATION



  • Standard: Oil to delay oxidation.

  • Type G: Suitable for clean environments due to its low particle generation. It also has good anti-oxidant characteristics.

  • Type H: Suitable for the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries.

  • Type L: Superior heat resistance and resistant to oxidation.


MATERIALS AND FINISHES



In MISUMI we have different materials and alternatives of surface finishes, which help to increase the resistance to the different environments where our linear bushings could be subjected.

  • Steel Bearing 52100: provides advantages in terms of strength, hardness, load carrying capacity, fatigue resistance and low friction. These features contribute to reliable performance, long service life and efficient operation of linear ball bushings.

  • 440C Stainless Steel: perfect resistance to corrosion, wear and high temperatures, recognized for its high hardness in demanding working conditions, low friction.

In some cases, may be coated with materials that will help increase the resistance of our bushings to different environments and corrosion.

  • Low temperature black chrome Nickel

  • Plating without electrodes
