Conveyor Belts and Material Handling
CONVEYOR WHEELS
Conveyor wheels rotate freely, with lateral supports for their installation. Designed to transport objects, can be found in different presentations, from the material of the whole wheel to materials that cover them.
Applications
Conveyor Wheels are used in a wide variety of industrial applications:
- Production lines: Essential in manufacturing production lines to move products between different workstations, allowing for continuous and efficient production.
- Distribution centers and warehouses: In warehouses and distribution centers, wheeled conveyors are used to move packages, boxes and products between storage, packing and shipping areas.
- Automotive industry: In automotive manufacturing, wheel conveyors are used to move parts and components along assembly lines, ensuring efficient and accurate production.
- Bulk material industry: In mining and bulk material handling, wheel conveyors are used to move minerals and materials over long distances in inclined and horizontal conveying systems.

Example 2132
The assembly shown corresponds to an inlet conveyor.
Its purpose is to transfer products to another workstation,
composed of strips that have conveyor wheels.

Types

Wheel with shaft

Wheel without shaft
This model has a shaft that overhangs the wheel.
This model does not have a shaft, i.e. the internal bearing is the width of the wheel face.

Wheel diameter (D)
from 20 to 60mm
Wheel width (B)
from 9 to 28mm
MISUMI’s wheel conveyors are configurable, making them adaptable to the specific needs of your application. This includes coated or uncoated, coating material, surface treatments, among others.
Materials and Finiches
Wheel transporters can be manufactured in a variety of materials, depending on application requirements and operating conditions.
Body Material
- Carbon steel: More commercial material
- Stainless steel: Ideal for humid environments
- Aluminum: Ideal for weight reduction
- Resin: Ideal to avoid scratches.
Coating material
- Nitrile Rubber: It reduces speed by generating a higher coefficient of friction.
- Polyurethane: This material is harder, ideal for impacts.

*The choice of material and surface finish of your conveyor wheels has a significant impact on the performance, durability and efficiency of your conveyor systems. Carefully consider the specific requirements of your industry, load and operating conditions when selecting both the material and finish of the wheels.
