A plate or bracket is an intermediate component used to attach one part or device to another. Some of its most common applications include index tables, mounting motors, sensor brackets, mounting panels, shaft supports, retaining brackets and many others.

Q&A
1. Why does this part number not work? Is this a valid part?
Configurable plate parts numbers can be very long. The issue is generally one of the machining tolerances and a hole being too close to an edge or another feature.
2. The part number is too long for an ERP system. Can the part number be shortened?
Many of our customers add their internal part number in the part number field of their ERP system and include the complete MISUMI part number in the description. In the case that the MISUMI part number is longer than 75 characters, Customer Service department will need to create an abbreviated (custom) part number.
