LEVERS

Also known as clamping handles, there are levers used to hold or fix components, boards, etc. Ergonomically designed to make it easier to grip and improve user comfort.



APPLICATIONS



Levers are used in a wide variety of industrial applications:

  • Industrial machinery and equipment: Used to control and operate various industrial machines and equipment, such as presses, stamping machines, packaging machines, and cutting and forming machinery

  • Valves and Control Systems: Levers are commonly used to operate valves in piping and fluid systems, such as ball valves, gate valves, and butterfly valves.

  • Robotics and automated handling: In process automation, levers are used to control the movements of industrial robots, robotic arms, and automated handling systems on production lines.

  • Conveyors and Movement Systems: Levers are used to control the movement and speed of conveyors and conveyor belts in production and distribution lines.

TYPES



With male rope:
More commercial.
Only mounting on a threaded surface is required, but mounting will exert pressure.

Threaded:
It is selected when there is already a threaded shaft,
this model is added to be able to manipulate the
system.

Y-type:
Compact and mostly manipulated with the fingers, in the previous models the hand is used.



Double arm / Butterfly:
Very similar to type Y, it is defined at the customer’s
discretion.

Cam:
These levers are used to exert greater pressure. Its
function is very similar to that of a clamp.

Tension lever:
It is used to manipulate large mechanisms, where a greater contact area is required to exert a greater
moment.

COLORS

Color is one of the most important aspects, since these play a very important function within the industry, visual safety. According to the type or standard used in a process or production plant, the color indicates a safety code, for example: Red (prohibited), yellow (caution/warning), orange (machinery danger), etc.




MEASURES AND MATERIALS




MEASURES

The main measure to consider is the string (M) and its
length (L) for levers with screws or those that are
threaded.

MATERIALS

Steel: It is the most economical option, selected for low handling
or exposure to humidity.
Zinc alloy: Selected for moderate handling and exposure to moisture..
Stainless steel: Selected for humid environments or those exposed to liquids.
Nylon: Selected for high handling, reduces friction to the touch.

APPLICATION

The clamping levers have an internal spring mechanism,
this helps initially to exert pressure and to be able to rotate
to choose the position of the handle without ceasing to exert
pressure.
