Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in: Business, Mechanical engineering or related.
    • Experience: 2 years in Inside Sales.
    • Experience in Industry process related desired.
    • Experience in mechanical automation products desire.
    • English Level: Intermediate.
    • Excel Level: Intermediate.
    • Power Point Level: Intermediate.

    Technical Knowledge

    • Customer Value Management.
    • Customer Engagement.
    • Basic Knowledge on E-Commerce.

Responsibilities

    The Inside Sales Representative Entry Level position will be responsible for initiating calls to prospects, building the sales funnel, fueling a growing sales organization, coordinating sales activities through interactions with customers, account managers, head office, procurement, engineering, warehouse, marketing, and customer service. This role will leverage emails, calls, social and other creative channels to generate opportunities for MISUMI in targeted industry segments and geographies.

    • Research targeted companies to identify key contacts, uncover and create opportunities to drive growth of the sales funnel.
    • Outbound cold calling to design engineers, mechanical engineers, buyers or other engineering professionals and technical personnel at companies defined by marketing campaign, communicating a complete understanding of the products available from MISUMI.
    • Prospect, educate and qualify leads to create sales-ready opportunities.
    • Partner with sales and marketing leaders to develop a targeted account strategy. Identify target companies in specific industry segments and/or geographical regions, and develop and execute a communication strategy via phone, email, and other channels.
    • Qualify leads generated by marketing campaigns and events in a timely manner.
    • Keep abreast of the company’s products, industry, and relevant technologies to ensure you are a trusted resource to prospects and customers.
    • Assist in requests that fall outside of standard company policy and customer claim related activities.
    • Coordinate with other departments such as customer service, head office, engineering, and procurement for daily activities.
    • Provide troubleshooting for customer orders, account statuses and related activities.
    • May recommend product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential.
    • Conduct in-depth analyses to identify sales performance.
    • Assist Inside sales supervisor with the generation of reports.
    • Assist Inside sales supervisor in accounts receivable matters and consideration of customer credit changes.
    • Performs other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Supervisor.
